There are 3 issues with water you need to be concerned with:
1. Purity. Tap water is not pure water, it is highly contaminated. Most bottled water is not that much better. Buy the best water filter you can afford and keep the filters changed.
I recommend 5 levels of purity according to what you can afford and are willing to afford.
If all you can afford is $5 at a time, buy the best bottled water you can, Deer Park is a good brand.
For around $20 you can buy a pitcher filter. This will save you a lot over buying bottled water and is better than tap water. Small bottles of water come out to about $1.60 per gallon so you will save lots of money just by putting out about twenty bucks at once.
For around $150 you can buy a charcoal water filter that attaches to your kitchen sink and a shower filter to protect you from absorbing all the junk and chlorine in the water. You must change the filters in this type of filter every 3-6 months depending on how often you use it.
For around $300 you can buy the water filter for your sink that the space shuttle uses. This one gives great purity and leaves the good minerals.
If you use any of the above methods, buy alkaline drops from www.alkalife.com to raise the ph of your water.
For around $2000-$4000 you can get an ionizing water filter that will filter your water and make it the perfect ph. This is only at one sink but you can chose the ph level you want to use.
2. Alkalinity. Ph balance is very significant for many things but especially for water! The best ph for a human body is 9. Every point below that is significantly acidic. Acidity in our tissues is a breeding ground for disease and weakness. According to Dr. Don Culbert in his book 7 Pillars of Health, most of the bottled waters and reverse osmosis filtered water and distilled water are acidic with a ph that is close to 7. Low thyroid function has been linked to a body with an acidic ph.
Dr. Culbert had many bottled waters tested. The most commonly available one that is more pure and has a ph of over 8 is Deer Park by Nestle. Avamore is very close to the perfect 9 ph.
Alkalife.com sells alkaline drops you can add to your water to raise the ph level.
3. Minerals. Minerals in water are important for bones, teeth and even organ function. Reverse osmosis removes the minerals. Some charcoal filters leave in some of the minerals. Alkalife.com has a space station tech water filter that gives more purity and leaves minerals so you just need to add some alkaline drops to raise the ph level.
Everyone should try to drink 1/2 their body weight in ounces of water every day!
